TAX FREE FOR FOREIGN TOURISTS WITH PASSPORT
Overseas visitors with temporary status who visit our Shinjuku or Ikebukuro stores and spend more than 10,001 yen (excluding tax) are entitled to a refund of the 5% consumption tax.
According to legislation, you are not eligible for tax exemption if you work in Japan or have stayed in the county for six months or more and tax exemption applies only to purchases that are not for the purpose of resale.
